Sunday 5th May, 2002 - "Mother the Queen of My Heart" - Mother's Day celebrations at Tanjung Bunga Water Sports Centre at 8am. Entrance ticket RM5 per person, children below 5 years old enter free. Lunch, Drinks, Games, Face Painting, Balloons, Water Sports - free; plus "tribute to mothers". Guest of Honour YB Dato' Dr Sak Cheng Lum, State MCA Chairman.

SERVICE CENTRE

We conduct full-time service centre to service the people of Batu Ferringhi. Our Centre opens Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 5pm; Saturdays from 9am to 1pm, and specific times for Cyber Club activities and social functions on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays

CYBER CLUB

We conduct Internet Classes and maintain Multi Media Resource Library which is open to the public at specific times. Internet classes are conducted with the assistance of students from Tunku Abdul Rahman College, Penang Branch. This is the first MCA Penang Cyber Club and funds for the club were raised from a Food Fair in 1999 and a Fund Raising Dinner on Sep 24, 2000.

K-SOCIETY (Knowledge-Society)

1. We conduct seminars and classes for personal development from time to time. A motivation seminar on "Weaving Thru' The Waves Of The New Millennium" was conducted by Y. Bhg. Dato' Lawrence Chan, Malaysia's top Award-Winning Training Consultant and the first and only Asian Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) at Penang International Sports Arena on Oct 26, 2000 at 7.30pm.

2. Launched in March 2001 on "Learning Mandarin Through Singing" a novel and fun way of learning the Mandarin language using karaoke lessons with song books written in Mandarin, romanised  Chinese language and the meaning of the words in English. Most courses are open to the public.
